Spirit of Christmas at Ballycultra
Ulster Folk & Transport Museum
Cultra, 153 Bangor Road
Join us for a truly traditional Christmas experience this year and take some time to leave the hustle and bustle of the high street behind and explore the candlelit Ballycultra village to experience Christmas from 100 years ago at the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum. As the holly and ivy wreaths are hung on the doors, take in the sights, sounds and seasonal smells of cinnamon toast and breads freshly baked over the open hearth. See some traditional crafts as our costumed guides share past times and tales from years gone by and listen to the rousing, seasonal anthems performed by brass bands and carol singers.
Want to make your experience extra special? Visit Santa as he warms his toes by his open fire, tell him of your wishes and receive a small gift before you leave. Booking for Santa is essential.
