Armagh Art Club Exhibition
Armagh Visitor Information Centre
40 English Street
You are invited to call into Armagh Visitor Information Centre and view the work of members of our local Armagh Art Club. As always, this now annual exhibition, will offer a wide and varied selection of work.
The Art Club was established in 1962 and goes from strength to strength, with a current membership of between 50 and 60 members each year. The Club accepts members of all abilities and encourages members to experiment in different media.
2018 was a great year for members with ventures into printmaking tutored by Robert Peters and instruction in Chinese art by Rong Gen Yin. The club has some very exciting projects booked for 2019 and no doubt their Annual Spring trip will prove to be popular and productive for the current membership!
If having taken a look around the exhibition you are inspired to join the Art Club, please contact the Visitor Information Centre and the staff there will ensure your details are passed on to the club’s secretary. They meet twice a month on Saturday mornings in The Braeburn Room (Dean Swift Building), Armagh Business Park, 50 Hamiltonsbawn Road, Armagh, BT61 9HT – opposite the MOT centre. The centre is easy to find, and members enjoy great free parking.
The Art Club exhibition will run in the Visitor Information Centre from the 1st March to the 30th April 2019. The centre opens Monday – Saturday 9am – 5pm in March and will be open Monday – Saturday 9am – 5:30pm and on Sunday from 1pm – 5:30pm in April.
