‘Aspects of Nature’ - An Exhibition by Lecora Textile ArtistsLecora Textile Artists is a group of ladies who all share an interest in contemporary textile art and embroidery. Set up in 2007, the group’s skills range from substantial experience in traditional crafts to artistic use of design and machine technology. This exhibition explores the wide-ranging theme of Nature with each member presenting their view or interpretation of a selected aspect of nature. Pieces demonstrating individual creativity, surface design, fabric painting, quilting, textile decoration, lace-making, weaving, felting and embroidery are all represented in the displays. The exhibition is open to the public from Friday 3rd July until Thursday 27th August 2020 and includes Saturday opening on 25th July and 22nd August. Opening hours: Monday-Friday, 10.00am-4.30pm.
