At Hill of The O’Neill, Dungannon, we are acutely aware of the heritage that surrounds us in this part of Tyrone. This course covers a range of subject areas and examines the heritage of South Tyrone in its broadest sense.

  • TUESDAY 30 APRIL: Military heritage - Battlefields of South Tyrone: Dr James O’Neill
  • TUESDAY 7 MAY: Industrial heritage of South Tyrone: Dr Fearghal Mac Bhloscaidh
  • TUESDAY 14 MAY: Two famous emigrants - Archbishop John Joseph Hughes and Andrew T. McReynolds: Dr Paddy Fitzgerald and Dr Alister McReynolds
  • TUESDAY 21 MAY: Literary heritage – John Montague and Charlie Donnelly: Dr Liam Campbell and Eileen Quinn.
  • TUESDAY 28 MAY: Hill of The O’Neill today: Peter Lant
