A peaceful tale of street protests, riots, guns, bombings and more riots. Karen Reid is a Belfast community worker struggling to keep house and family together in the face of Northern Ireland&#8217;s unique form of peace. Through the 1994 ceasefires, The Good Friday Agreement, The Chuckle Brothers and the &#8216;fleg&#8217; protests, she fervently believes in a new Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, Karen has the &#8216;total support&#8217; of her loyal band of friends such as: Fireball (now working in Roselawn Crematorium), her dingbat best friend, Stacy, flute band leader, Roberto, Pineapple the paramilitary, Claire, the secret lesbian, Aaron, the serial &#8216;fleg&#8217; protester and many more. \u2018The History Of The Peace [Accordin\u2019 To My Ma!]\u2019 will be staged on Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 April at 8pm. Tickets are priced \u00a318 each. Please note that this performance will contain strong language.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Nelson \u2013 The Sailor\u2019s Story\u2019 tells the tale of the inspirational hero, the flawed maverick, the tactical genius, and the rebel. Amidst Trafalgar\u2019s shot, smoke and din, the crew of the Victory strive to destroy the Combined Fleet of France and Spain. Below the column in Trafalgar Square, a homeless Falklands veteran shivers in the cold \u2013 above, Nelson\u2019s thoughts on the world today. This promises to be a compelling story\u2026highly amusing, sobering and poignant.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Nelson \u2013 The Sailors\u2019 Story\u2019 will be told on Friday 15 April at 8pm.
