The first video was created over the weekend \u2013 when chef and broadcaster John Quilter, aka Food Busker, hit the streets of Enniskillen to create a \u2018brilliant bacon sandwich\u2019. His video \u2013 which is due to go live at the end of May \u2013 will feature Pat O\u2019Doherty\u2019s famous Fermanagh Black Bacon and will showcase the beautiful Fermanagh Lakelands and scenic shots of Enniskillen.<\/p>\n<p>Jamie Oliver\u2019s Food Tube is one of YouTube\u2019s most successful food channels, featuring Jamie and a number of his friends and up-and-coming cooking talent. With some 22 million monthly views, it\u2019s a really popular community for food lovers \u2013 and a superb platform to showcase Northern Ireland and the wonderful culinary experience on offer here.<\/p>\n<p>The Fermanagh film will be promoted on Food Tube\u2019s social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, using #EnjoyNI. Filming for the second video will take place this week, in Co Antrim. Tourism Ireland worked closely with Tourism NI to agree the locations to feature in both films.<\/p>\n<p>David Boyce, Tourism Ireland\u2019s Deputy Head of Great Britain, said: <strong><em>\u201cWe\u2019re really excited to work with Jamie Oliver\u2019s Food Tube to promote Northern Ireland\u2019s Year of Food and Drink in GB. Our message here in GB is that Northern Ireland is a superb choice for \u2018foodies\u2019 for a holiday or long weekend break. We\u2019re inviting them to <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>come and discover our wonderful food and drink \u2013 and also hear the stories of the passionate people who rear, make, cook, distill and serve this superb produce.\u201d <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This promotion is just one element of Tourism Ireland\u2019s busy programme of activity throughout 2016 to highlight Northern Ireland\u2019s Year of Food and Drink.
