Join the Ulster Orchestra in a musical celebration of fifty years as Northern Ireland\u2019s world-class symphony orchestra in \u2018The Music Of Genius\u2019 at Armagh\u2019s Market Place Theatre.<\/h1>\n

\"\"Few in history truly deserve the epitaph of \u2018a creative genius\u2019 but tonight we can enjoy not one, but two composers who are undoubtedly worthy of such praise! In their short lives [Mendelssohn died at thirty-eight, Mozart only made it to thirty-five] they each wrote some of classical music\u2019s greatest masterpieces and this evening the Ulster Orchestra perform two of the best-loved of these.<\/p>\n

Mozart\u2019s brilliant \u2018Jupiter\u2019 symphony No. 41 and Mendelssohn\u2019s virtuosic Violin Concerto. The Ulster Orchestra\u2019s Leader, Tam\u00e1s Kocsis, takes centre stage as soloist and the concert will be conducted by the Orchestra\u2019s sensational young Music Director, Rafael Payare.<\/p>\n

The Music Of Genius will be staged on Saturday 1 April at 8pm. Tickets are priced \u00a317.50 and \u00a315 (concession) and a limited number of \u00a35 student tickets are available.<\/p>\n
