Calling all budding actors and singers!\u00a0 If you\u2019ve ever fancied treading the boards in a professional theatrical production, make your way to the Millennium Forum<\/strong> on Saturday 10th<\/sup> June from 12.30pm to 2.30pm <\/strong>when the North West\u2019s premier theatre will be holding auditions for yet another fabulous Christmas Panto, \u2018Jack & The Beanstalk\u2019.<\/strong><\/h1>\n

\"\"Directed by Jonathan Burgess, with choreography by Venessa Chapman and Alan Wright as Musical Director, \u2018Jack & The Beanstalk\u2019 at the Forum boasts the best in local talent in the biggest show of the Autumn\/Winter programme of events.<\/p>\n

A number of lead cast roles including the King <\/em>and Queen<\/em> (playing an age of 35+) are up for grabs at the auditions.\u00a0 If it\u2019s simply singing and dancing that\u2019s your thing, then there are also a number of adult \u2018General Ensemble\u2019 parts to be won (age 17+).\u00a0 All roles require excellent singing, acting and dancing ability.<\/p>\n

David McLaughlin, Chief Executive of the Millennium Forum and show producer for the past fourteen years, encourages everyone with a desire to perform to audition:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Millennium Forum has developed a reputation for producing fantastic Christmas pantomimes that are fun for all the family.\u00a0 \u2018Cinderella\u2019 last year was hugely successful, having performed to a massive audience of almost 30,000!\u00a0 The auditions for this year\u2019s Christmas Panto provide a great opportunity to act, sing or dance in the biggest show of the season for all budding professional or amateur performers.\u00a0 Who knows \u2013 it could be the first step to a career in acting for some talented individual.\u00a0 We have already seen Gerard McCarthy (Jack in \u2018Jack & The Beanstalk\u2019 2002) move onto great success with Channel 4\u2019s \u2018Hollyoaks\u2019, our \u2018Aladdin\u2019 from 2009 and \u2018Peter Pan\u2019 from 2004, Conleth Kane, is also doing exceptionally well; he has recently enjoyed success on London\u2019s West End following an appearance in the hit television programmes, Casualty and RTE\u2019s search for FAME THE MUSICAL stars; Orla Mullan who played our \u2018Fairy Godmother\u2019 a number of times, has enjoyed success in the recent hit television series, \u2018The Fall\u2019; our \u2018Peter Pan\u2019 from 2013 and 2015\u2019s Aladdin, Mikey J Heath has recently starred as \u2018Tom Thumb\u2019 in the West End touring production of the hit musical, \u2018Barnum\u2019 and local actor, Dylan Reid, landed the part of \u2018Andrej\u2019 in the musical, \u2018Once\u2019.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n
