{"id":14848,"date":"2017-08-14T11:57:54","date_gmt":"2017-08-14T10:57:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/whatsonni.com\/news\/?p=14848"},"modified":"2017-08-14T11:58:45","modified_gmt":"2017-08-14T10:58:45","slug":"game-of-thrones-tapestry-looms-large-in-belfast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whatsonni.com\/news\/2017\/08\/game-of-thrones-tapestry-looms-large-in-belfast\/","title":{"rendered":"Game of Thrones Tapestry \u201clooms large\u201d in Belfast!"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><strong>Latest<\/strong> <strong>section of Tourism Ireland\u2019s <\/strong><strong>Game of Thrones<\/strong><strong>\u00ae <\/strong><strong>tapestry highlights <\/strong><strong>key scenes from episode 3 of season 7<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Tourism Ireland has released another time-lapse video of the weaving of the latest section of its Game of Thrones\u00ae tapestry \u2013 part of its 2017 campaign to showcase Northern Ireland to millions of GoT fans worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>There are currently more than 160 scenes woven into the Bayeux-style tapestry which is hanging in the Ulster Museum \u2013 and more scenes are being added every week, to mark each episode of the new season. This week\u2019s section of tapestry includes a collection of scenes from \u201cThe Queen\u2019s Justice,\u201d episode 3 of season 7 \u2013 including the meeting between Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen, the reunion between Bran and Sansa Stark, the Unsullied assault on Casterly Rock and Lady Olenna Tyrell\u2019s final moments with Jaime.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/SdYFywU1T_E\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As well as the time-lapse video, Tourism Ireland has also released a cinemagraph (or \u201cliving\u201d photograph) for the first time as part of this campaign \u2013 it\u2019s an animated version of a key scene from season 3 where, in the Brotherhood without Banners\u2019 hideout, their leader Dondarrion faces The Hound in a trial by combat.
