For the whole month of June, the garden will be transformed into an eclectic art gallery when it becomes home to 23 beautiful sculptures. Step inside this stunning space and start your journey of discovery\u2026<\/p>\n

The sculptures, inspired by the garden, will give visitors the opportunity to see art in a different context.\u00a0 The tranquillity and beauty of the garden are enhanced by the artworks, making a visit to this exhibition a real escape.<\/p>\n

Some of the works are of large scale and complement the setting whilst other subtler works will need to be sought out of the greenery \u2013 art and nature really do collide in this unique garden experience.<\/p>\n

Ards and North Down Borough Council\u2019s Arts Officer, Patricia Hamilton said; \u201cThe ForM Sculpture Exhibition provides the opportunity for artists to challenge themselves to create work for a unique environment and be inspired by the stunning setting of Bangor Castle Walled Garden.<\/p>\n

The exhibition, which is open to all, especially creates an excellent opportunity for our local artists, some of whom are starting out on their artistic careers, to exhibit alongside established artists.\u201d<\/p>\n

ForM will remain open until 24 June and is free to visit.\u00a0 Some of the sculptures are available to buy.\u00a0 Visitors can pick up a map and catalogue on arrival and are also invited to vote for their favourite sculpture for the ForM Competition.<\/p>\n

As part of the exhibition, a series of free art workshops will run in the garden throughout June. From sketching to painting, there\u2019s plenty to choose from! For more information and to book a space, go to:<\/p>\n
