Climb up the amazing Slieve Bearnagh, continuing your journey, passing the feet of Slieve Meelmore & Meelbeg, heading south into the heart of the Mournes, Doan. Proceed North West picking up the Mourne Way past Fofanny Dam and back to Meelmore Lodge for some refreshments. Distance\u00a0\u2013 8-10 miles.\u00a0This is graded as a moderate walk\u00a0– suitable for people with country walking experience and a good level of fitness. May include some steep paths and open country. Walking boots are essential. Not recommended for those under 18 years but children aged 16-17 years and accompanied by an adult may take part.<\/p>\n
