This year\u2019s carnival\nparade is a celebration of children and young people exploring depictions of\nyouth in myth and legend both in the Celtic tradition and cultures across the\nworld.&nbsp; Fantastical creatures will snake\ntheir way through the city\u2019s streets along with a host of characters\nrepresenting young people from fables and fairy tales from faraway lands. Expect\nto be delighted by dance moves with everything from ballet to hip hop. <\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/discovernorthernireland.com\/St-Patrick-s-Procession-Family-Fun-Day\">St\nPatrick\u2019s Procession Family Fun Day<\/a>, Armagh, 16 March. &nbsp;With a\ntheme of &#8220;Invention and Innovation&#8221;, celebrate Saint Patrick with a\nspectacular display of colour, music, dance and entertainment as the wonderful\nprocession snakes through the city from the Palace Demesne.&nbsp; Afterwards, enjoy a family fun day in the\nShambles Yard with free admission for all.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/discovernorthernireland.com\/St-Patrick-s-at-St-George-s-Market-Belfast-P81770\/\">St Patrick\u2019s at St George\u2019s Market<\/a> Belfast, 17 March. &nbsp;Get\nset for a real taste of Northern Ireland and sample some of the culinary\ndelights on offer. You will be able to enjoy lots of entertainment including live\ntraditional music, toe-tapping Irish dancing and workshops.&nbsp; So pop in, relax and join in the unmissable\nSt Patrick\u2019s Day celebrations.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/discovernorthernireland.com\/Our-Living-Coast-Boat-Tour-Portrush-P79446\/\">Our Living Coast Boat Tour<\/a> Portrush, 16 March- 28 September. Join Causeway Seafishing Company&#8217;s eagle-eyed crew in a unique two-hour\njourney along the Causeway Coast. &nbsp;See\nwildlife in its natural environment and learn about the hidden local history of\nthe Causeway Coast.&nbsp; Depart Portrush Harbour, cruise along the\nNorth of the Skerries; see hauled out seals, then continue on to Dunluce\nCastle. &nbsp;Return journey is via the White\nRocks&#8217; sea caves and East bays.<\/li><li>Station Island Armagh,\n13 March. &nbsp;The Lyric Theatre brings its performance\nof Seamus Heaney\u2019s epic poem to Armagh\u2019s Shambles Market. &nbsp;Steeped in ritual, memory, and ghostly\nvisions, Heaney&#8217;s literary pilgrimage through St. Patrick&#8217;s Purgatory explores\nhis complex relationship with his homeland, his faith and the past.&nbsp; Composers and performers Paul Stapleton and\nSteve Davis provide a unique live musical accompaniment to the reading.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/discovernorthernireland.com\/An-Evening-with-Arborist-plus-Special-Guests-Bellaghy-Magherafelt-P81775\/\">An Evening with Arborist plus Special Guests<\/a>, Bellaghy, 16 March. An evening showcasing the best of Northern\nIreland\u2019s contemporary musical talent.&nbsp;\nFronted by James Heaney, Arborist released their critically\nacclaimed debut album in 2016 and now return with the follow-up A Northern\nView.&nbsp; Joining Arborist will be three-time\nNI music award nominee Malojian and Conor Mason, making this a magical evening\nnot to be missed.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/discovernorthernireland.com\/SPAR-Craic-10K-Belfast-P78210\/\">SPAR Craic 10K<\/a> , Belfast, 17 March.&nbsp; The\nSPAR Craic 10K sees almost 2000 runners take to the streets<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>in&nbsp;what has been described as Belfast\u2019s first urban run.&nbsp; The race will leave City Hall at 10am, passing through the Gaeltacht\nQuarter before finishing at Ormeau Park.&nbsp;\nEntrants receive a \u2018goodie\u2019 bag and all finishers receive a bespoke 2019\nmedal.&nbsp; The SPAR Craic 10K allows you to\ncelebrate St Patrick&#8217;s in a fun, healthy way before enjoying the parade and\nparty in Custom House Square. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/discovernorthernireland.com\/Family-Comedy-Club-Belfast-P79500\/\">Family Comedy Club<\/a> , Belfast, 11 March.&nbsp; Paul\nCurrie unleashes his unique style which fuses traditional stand-up with\npuppetry, clowning and sheer exuberance.&nbsp;\nSomething new and refreshing for families that goes straight for the\nfunny bone that we all share.&nbsp; Presented\nas part of the 21st Belfast Children\u2019s Festival.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/li><li>The Giant Lego Brick Trail, Newtownards, 2 \u2013 31 March.&nbsp; Back\nat Castle Espie Wetland Centre by popular demand, the Trail features 14\nindividually designed characters including Natalie the Nene, the world\u2019s rarest\ngoose, Flavia the Andean flamingo and Benedict the Bewick\u2019s swan.&nbsp; Take part in team activities, individual\nchallenges and the popular interactive Lego brick workshops, perfect for fans\nyoung or old.
