Stendhal Festival has revealed the first musical acts who will be taking to the stage at this year\u2019s installment of the Limavady based, multi-award winning music and arts festival.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Critically acclaimed and globally renowned\nDJ duo, Basement Jaxx will be headlining on Saturday August 17th<\/sup> while\nFriday August 16th<\/sup> will see Hothouse Flowers take to the Stendhal\nStage for headlining duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also on the bill for Stendhal 2019 is a\nhost of phenomenal talents sourced from all over Ireland, the UK and the rest\nof the world, including; David Keenan, The Lost Brothers, Roe, Mary Coughlan, Ryan\nVail and Elma Orkestra, Hunkpapa, Malojian, Amy Montgomery, Marty Mone,\nSugarwolf, Cherym, Gemma Bradley, The Swingtime Starlets, Cooks But We\u2019re\nChefs, People that listen to the Sky, Blackbird and Crow, Stone Jets, Atticus,\nSon of the Hound, Bouts, Mob Wife, Sick Love, Transpacifica, BLXXD, I AM MUIR\nand Molly Hogg<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With lots more announcements to come, Ross\nParkhill, Director of Stendhal Festival said; \u201cWe are really excited how our\nline-up for 2019 is shaping up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAlready we have an incredibly strong\nprogramme that is varied, eclectic and of a really high standard and we still\nhave a lot more to announce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added: \u201cBasement Jaxx will have the\nwhole of Karma Valley bouncing on the Saturday, there is no question about\nthat. They have a huge catalogue of really well known tunes that will no doubt\nbe a phenomenal way to bring the curtain down on what we are anticipating to be\nanother stand out year for the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ross continued: \u201cHothouse flowers are one\nof the best loved bands to come out of Ireland and have been revered for a\ngeneration and they will certainly be a massive crowd pleaser at the festival\nthis August.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ross concluded: \u201cThese acts are of course\nbacked up by an incredibly strong line-up right throughout this first\nannouncement. We have several acts form the Republic of Ireland who are making\nbig noises across the border, wonderful acts from South Africa and The USA and\nas always we have the cr\u00e8me de la cr\u00e8me of our very own Northern Irish talent\nready and waiting to steal the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe will be announcing our second and final\nraft of musical acts and a whole lot more before the end of April, so there is\nstill plenty more to come on what is already one of our finest, if not our very\nfinest line-up to date.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
