The world famous road\nraces take place once again in and around the picturesque County Antrim village\nof Armoy. The three mile circuit harks back to the 1970s and the days of the\nlegendary Armoy Armada including the famous Joey Dunlop, but has been brought\nbang up to date by the organisers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/discovernorthernireland.com\/The-Portstewart-Community-Red-Sails-Festival-Portstewart-P80589\/\">The\nPortstewart Community Red Sails Festival<\/a>, Portstewart, 22-27 July. Over the\ncourse of the week there will be live music featuring pop, rock, blues, country\nand traditional music. Street theatre includes Mr Mess, Mr Whizzy, Miss Shell,\nthe Singing Mermaid and Roary the Dinosaur. With O&#8217;Hara&#8217;s Castle as a backdrop,\nthe finale is a fireworks display making a visually impressive end to the\nfestival. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/discovernorthernireland.com\/Newtownards-Historical-Walking-Tour-Newtownards-P83531\/\">Newtownards\nHistorical Walking Tour<\/a>, Newtownards, 25 July.\nNewtownards has a wealth of historical treasures waiting to be\ndiscovered.&nbsp; Hear fascinating stories from the Middle Ages through to\nCromwell\u2019s conquest and the 1798 rebellion, as well as finding evidence of how\ncivilisations, such as the Normans, Celts and Vikings, shaped and influenced\nthe town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/discovernorthernireland.com\/Strawberry-Tea-Fair-at-The-Ballance-House-Glenavy-Crumlin-P84389\/\">Strawberry\nTea Fair at The Ballance House<\/a>, Crumlin, 27 July. Join a guided tour of the\nHouse and Ulster-New Zealand Exhibition.&nbsp; Learn about the life and\nachievements of John Balance during his New Zealand parliamentary career,\nincluding helping to secure the vote for women and land reform. Enjoy a craft\nmarket and much more at this summer family event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/discovernorthernireland.com\/Day-Walk-Slieve-Bearnagh-Newcastle-P84193\/\">Day\nWalk \u2013 Slieve Bearnagh<\/a>, Newcastle, 27 July. Enjoy a day walking in the\nbeautiful Mourne Mountains and admire the granite tors on the summit of Slieve\nBearnagh, with a multi-lingual, qualified Mountain Leader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.randoxantrimshow.com\/\">Randow Antrim Show<\/a>, Antrim, 27\nJuly. From the Festival of Food and Paula McIntyre cookery demonstrations to\nlivestock, sheep shearing, horse jumping competitions and much more there\u2019s\nplenty to keep all of the family amused at the Randox Antrim Show at Shane\u2019s\nCastle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/discovernorthernireland.com\/Game-of-Thrones-Workshops-and-Feast-Experience-Belfast-P84271\/\">Game\nof Thrones\u00ae Workshops and Feast Experience<\/a>, Belfast, 28 July. Sign up for\nthis unique immersive event starting with a Game of Thrones\u00ae style lunch, then\ntake three themed Game of Thrones\u00ae workshops. Corralea Water Park is open to the public on\nthese dates. Just bring a towel, swimsuit and trainers and enjoy paddle boats,\ncanoes and an inflatable water park at Corralea Activity Centre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/discovernorthernireland.com\/Belfast-TradFest-Belfast-P83939\/\">Belfast\nTradFest<\/a>, Belfast, 27 July- 2 August. Descending upon the city \u2013 in a\nseries of concerts, masterclasses, workshops, talks and sessions \u2013 will be a\nhost of world-renowned traditional musicians.
