This festival is known for combining\nheadline national and international artists with local musicians, writers,\nchefs and other creatives, and for curating bespoke events such as Folk on a\nBoat, Island Picnic and the Bangor Rocks Musical Bus Tour. It all adds up to a\nfestival&nbsp; programme which truly offers something for everyone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/discovernorthernireland.com\/Yarnfolk-Festival-of-Wool-Whitehead-Carrickfergus-P84426\/\">Yarnfolk\nFestival of Wool<\/a>, Whitehead, 3 August. Yarnfolk Festival of Wool takes\nplace in the beautiful seaside town of Whitehead. With over 40 local\nindependent designers, dyers, wool spinners, felt makers, weavers and textile\nartists from all over the UK and Ireland there will be plenty for you to see\nand do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/discovernorthernireland.com\/Cairncastle-Ulster-Scots-Bluegrass-Folk-Cross-Community-Festival-Ballygally-Larne-P84297\/\">Cairncastle\nUlster Scots Bluegrass &amp; Folk Cross Community Festival<\/a>, Ballygally,\n23-31 July. This year\u2019s festival hosts cultural evenings and afternoon\nworkshops at the Halfway House Hotel. Enjoy musicians, dancers and bands as\nthey perform a mixture of Irish, Scottish, country and bluegrass music. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/discovernorthernireland.com\/Ulster-Military-Vehicle-Club-Portrush-P83314\/\">Ulster\nMilitary Vehicle Club<\/a>, Portstewart, 3-4 August.\nThe Ulster Military Vehicle Club exists to promote the restoration,\npreservation and display of ex-military vehicles. Come and see their\nfascinating display of a wide range of vehicles from many theatres of war. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/discovernorthernireland.com\/Feile-An-Phobail-2019-August-Festival-Belfast-P84414\/\">F\u00e9ile\nAn Phobail 2019 August Festival<\/a>, Belfast, 1-11 August. The F\u00e9ile&nbsp;\nprogramme is packed with street theatre, children\u2019s events, parties in the\npark, concerts, sports, discussions, debates, exhibitions, dramas and readings,\noffering something for the whole family. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/discovernorthernireland.com\/Big-Splash-Festival-Portglenone-Ballymena-P84312\/\">Big\nSplash Festival<\/a>, Ballymena, 24 July &#8211; 3 August. This annual festival\nprovides another wide ranging lineup including a family camp night, tea dance,\nvintage cavalcade, exhibitions heritage walk, c\u00e9ili\/ceilidh, cookery\ndemonstration and competitions. Along with a family fun day which includes\nwater activities, an angling competition and a teddy bears\u2019 picnic, the\nfestival finishes with a triathlon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/discovernorthernireland.com\/Walled-City-Tattoo-Londonderry-Derry-P83227\/\">Walled\nCity Tattoo<\/a>, Derry~Londonderry, 3 August.&nbsp; The Walled City Tattoo\nreturns with another spell-binding mix of top class local and international\ntalent. A spectacular visual display like no other tells the unique story of\nthe walled city including the Tattoo\u2019s well-established blend of cultural\ntraditions and the high quality drama, music, dance and, of course, that little\nbit extra. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/discovernorthernireland.com\/Belfast-Pride-Festival-2019-Belfast-P73890\/\">Belfast\nPride Festival 2019<\/a>, Belfast, 27 July \u2013 3 August. Belfast Pride hosts a\nweek of LGBT inclusive events featuring workshops, discussions and\nperformances. The highlight of Belfast Pride is the parade which is the main\nevent in the LGBTQ calendar, a protest and a celebration, a call for equality,\na stand for solidarity and a celebration of the lives of LGBT people in\nBelfast. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/discovernorthernireland.com\/Dog-Leap-Rally-Ballykelly-Limavady-P78213\/\">Dog\nLeap Rally<\/a>, Limavady, 3 August. Visitors to the Causeway Coast and Glens\ncan experience the thrill of the Dog Leap Rally,an exciting rally on the roads\nof Northern Ireland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10.&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/discovernorthernireland.com\/Batty-Bonanza-Portadown-Craigavon-P84002\/\">Batty\nBonanza<\/a>, Portadown, 2 August. Come and find out about the resident bat\npopulation at Ardress.
