Springhill House, which is cared for by the National Trust, is located in Moneymore just ten minutes from Cookstown and Magherafelt town centres.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/whatsonni.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/press-10-1024x703.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17624\" width=\"512\" height=\"352\"\/><figcaption>Clueso for kids at Springhill. Experience a family friendly\nhouse tour, enjoy all the fun of the mini fairground, and take a selfie with\none of the friendly animals from Phil\u2019s Farm. At scheduled times throughout the\nday there will be old school sports day races\u2026..for the young and old at heart!\nA full timetable of events will be available on the day. All this, on top of\nour Summer of Sport offering already in place, where the whole family can\nchallenge themselves in the adventure trail and Nature Ninja area. Or maybe you\nfancy having a game of football, volleyball, tennis or table tennis\u2026.the choice\nis yours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the midst of all this activity, if you need to take time\nout and relax for a moment, our two second hand book shops host quiet escapes\nto browse a wide selection of texts. Our experienced volunteers are happy to\nhelp source those hidden literary gems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our celebrated allotments will be open for you to have a\nwander and pick up some useful tips from our friendly walled garden community\nwhilst they tender their crops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will also be the opportunity to peruse local crafts and\nproducts by Saffron Essential Oils, Elemental Earth, Spirit, and Felt Art by\nKD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Feeling peckish? Enjoy the new seasonal light lunch options\nin the Barn Caf\u00e9. Live music from R&amp;R will create the fun atmosphere in the\nLaundry Yard and there\u2019s face painting too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Springhill shop offers a wide variety of gifts, including\nlocal crafts, and unique items for your garden\u2026and if you need a sun hat or an\nice-cream they have them too! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take a little piece of Springhill home to your own garden\nfrom an impressive display of bedding plants and shrubs, cultivated by our\ngardener Warren, whose rose display in the Dutch Garden is another \u2018must see\u2019\nat this event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A dynamic group of friendly staff are looking forward to\nwelcoming you all to Springhill on Sunday 11 August for Springhill\u2019s Family Fun\nDay, 11am-4pm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Normal admission applies.
