1.       European\nHeritage Open Days<\/a>, Across NI, 14-15 September. Over 300 properties and\nevents across Northern Ireland open free of charge during this weekend, many of\nwhich do not usually open to the public. Properties open include Florence\nCourt, Belfast City Hall and many more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.       Day\nWalk – Slieve Binnian & North Tor<\/a>, Newry, 14 September.  Enjoy a\nday walking in the beautiful Mourne Mountains, climb Slieve Binnian and admire\nimpressive granite tors, with a multi-lingual, qualified Mountain Leader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.       An\n\u2018Olympic\u2019 Challenge: Olympic, Titanic and Britannic<\/a>, Belfast, 9 September.\nThe Belfast Titanic Society and PRONI present their third annual lecture. Mark\nChirnside explores the financial, technical and engineering issues that\nconfronted the White Star Line as they planned Olympic, Titanic and Britannic\nand explains how they overcame them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.       Myra’s\nStory<\/a>, Derry~Londonderry, 14-15 September. Brian Foster\u2019s new adaptation of\nhis acclaimed play, Maire a Woman of Derry. Living rough on the streets of\nDublin, Myra Mc Laughlin is a foul mouthed, feisty, street drinker. She is also\nimmensely funny and self- deprecating. Myra never wallows in self-pity as she\ngives us a hilarious, moving, and ultimately tragic account of her fall from\ngrace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.       Traditional\nIrish Baking<\/a>, Moy, 14 September. Wee Buns Cookery School offers a warm\nwelcome at this hands on class, discussing recipes and techniques and making\nthe most of local ingredients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.       Athenry:\nDance of the Celts<\/a>, Belfast, 11 September.  Irish dance company \u2018Ta\nDa\u2019  presents the tale of the famous song \u201cThe Fields of Athenry\u201d like\nyou\u2019ve never seen before at the Cabaret Supper Club.  With a talented cast\nof World Champions and dancers from the biggest touring shows, such as\n\u2018Riverdance\u2019 and \u2018Lord of the Dance\u2019, watch as \u2018Michael\u2019 and \u2018Mary\u2019 find love\nduring the Great Famine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

7.       Neon\nNight Maize Maze<\/a>, Limavady, 14 September. Do you think you can make it out\nof the all new Maize Maze in a glowing record time? Try your best  at\nCarrowmena Activity Centre\u2019s neon themed night maze event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

8.       Shane Todd: The Todd Father<\/a>,\nNewcastle, 13 September. Following a hugely successful 2018 tour Shane Todd\npresents his biggest show yet, The Toddfather. Performing at a number of venues\nacross Northern Ireland, see The Toddfather in Newcastle at The Anchor Bar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

9.       FUR & Guests<\/a>,\nBelfast, 15 September. See Brighton-based quartet FUR perform at their only\nBelfast date in McHugh\u2019s Basement with special guests. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

10.   Hidden\nGems Tour<\/a>, Dungannon, 14 \u2013 15 September. This full day tour offers an\nadventure into the wild and rugged Lough Neagh landscape and gives an insight into\nhow the local people live with local guide, James Walshe. Explore the ancient\nroads and lanes to uncover tales of Vikings, healing sites and holy wells where\nSaint Patrick walked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
