As\npart of the \u2018Taste the Island\u2019 initiative for 12 weeks\nDiscoverNorthernIreland.com will have the top three food experiences and events\nin their weekly  10 things to do listing. DiscoverNorthernIreland.com has\nstacks of fun things to do across NI, from family days out to gigs and cultural\nevents. Here are ten exciting things taking place this week including three\nfood experiences and events (21-27 October)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.       Taste\nthe Island Slow Fish Event<\/a>, Portrush, 27 October. An evening of cookery at\nArcadia Cafe, tasting plates of sustainable and seasonal fish dishes and local\ndrinks with local chef and Slow Food NI director, Paula McIntyre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.       Haunted\nHarvest Market<\/a>, Derry~Londonderry, 26 October-1 November. Taste terrifyingly tantalising treats and drink\nbewitching brews while a world of magical wonder unfolds before your eyes\noutside the Guildhall this Halloween. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.       Wee\nBuns – Bake Your Own<\/a>, Dungannon, 26 October. Wee Buns Cookery School\nprovides a warm welcome off the beaten track in the beautiful countryside of\nCounty Tyrone. Enjoy making some great baking classics in this fun hands-on\nclass including a dozen fairy cakes and your own light-as-a-feather buttermilk\nscones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.       Spooky\nPaws Walk the Walls<\/a>, Derry~Londonderry, 24 October. Organised by The\nRainbow Rehoming Centre, join in the Halloween celebrations by taking part in\ntheir fancy dress dog walk around Derry\u2019s walls. All donations raised will go\ninto their new site fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.       Hallowe’en\nFest & Craft Fair<\/a>, Enniskillen, 27 October. Come along and enjoy a fun\nfilled family afternoon at the Hallowe’en Fest and Craft Fair at Florence Court\nwith lots of ghostly activities on offer including craft stalls, spooky trail,\nlive music and face painting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.       Whitehead\nTour Through Stories & Food<\/a>, Whitehead, 26 October. Enjoy this\nleisurely and flat-levelled walk in the Victorian town of Whitehead, which\nincludes a food tasting deli plate and homemade soup, with local guide, artist\nand storyteller Audrey Kyle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

7.       Circe\u2019s\nSupper Club: The Ark after Dark<\/a>, Newtownards, 26 October.  Step inside\nMount Stewart for a 1920s celebration of the unusual and unexpected. Join Circe\nfor an evening of music and unusual theatricals, where the worlds of reality\nand myth will become thoroughly confused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8.       Terror\non the Tracks<\/a>, Downpatrick, 26 October. Hop aboard an adults-only steam\ntrain to a haunted graveyard with the Downpatrick Railway and County Down\nRailway. Witness what is stirring in the night, watch out for strange\ncharacters and listen to dark tales of the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9.       City\nof Derry International Choir Festival 2019<\/a>, Derry~Londonderry, 23-27\nOctober. Enjoy a stellar line-up of guest artists and 100 participating choirs\nfor a jam-packed five-day festival, opening at the Guildhall and performances\nin a number of venues across the city. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

10.   Pumpkinfest<\/a>,\nStrangford, 26-27 October. Pick, scoop and carve a pumpkin, enter a scarecrow\ninto the scarecrow competition and solve the clues on the trail at Castle Ward\nthis Halloween.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
