One of the UK\u2019s<\/strong> most successful singer-songwriters, Gabrielle\n<\/strong>will bring the Rise Again Tour 2020 <\/strong>to the Ulster Hall next November.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gabrielle <\/strong>returned to the top of her game with her 2018<\/strong>\nalbum \u2018Under My Skin\u2019<\/strong><\/a>.\nThe album debuted at #7<\/strong> on the Official<\/strong> Album<\/strong> Chart<\/strong>\nand represented her highest-charting studio set since \u2018Rise\u2019<\/strong> spent three\nweeks at #1<\/strong> eighteen years earlier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having successfully proven herself all over again, Gabrielle<\/strong>\nis now set to celebrate the 20th<\/sup> anniversary of the smash hit \u2018Rise\u2019<\/strong><\/a>\nalbum with the confirmation of the \u2018Rise Again Tour 2020\u2019<\/strong>. The tour will\nsee Gabrielle<\/strong> playing  songs from the album, along with other\niconic hits and fan favourites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m so excited about going on the road and\ncelebrating 20 years of the \u2018Rise\u2019 album being released. I\u2019m looking forward to\nperforming songs from \u2018Rise\u2019 alongside lots of my other favourites and of\ncourse I could never end a show without playing \u2018Dreams\u2019, its going to be a big\nparty full of good vibes and memories\u201d <\/em><\/strong>says Gabrielle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Released late in 1999<\/strong>, \u2018Rise\u2019 <\/strong>shot back into\nthe charts when its title-track spent two weeks at #1<\/strong> the following February<\/strong>.\nThe album then spent three weeks at #1 <\/strong>during an eleven-week run in the Top\n10<\/strong>, before again returning to the Top 10<\/strong> in the summers of 2000<\/strong>\nand 2001<\/strong>. The album was eventually certified 4 x Platinum<\/strong> in\nrecognition of more than 1.2 million<\/strong> sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Rise\u2019<\/strong> featured five of Gabrielle\u2019s<\/strong> biggest\nhits: the title track (#1<\/strong>), \u2018Out Of Reach\u2019 <\/strong>(#4<\/strong>),  \u2018When\nA Woman\u2019<\/strong> (#6<\/strong>), \u2018Sunshine\u2019<\/strong> (#9<\/strong>) and \u2018Should I Stay\u2019 <\/strong>(#13<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the first chapter of her career \u2013 from her emergence\nin 1993<\/strong> through to 2007<\/strong> \u2013 Gabrielle was a near constant presence\nin the UK<\/strong> charts. She landed two #1<\/strong> singles, a further eight Top\n10 <\/strong>hits and five Top 10<\/strong> albums, including the #1 hit \u2018Rise\u2019<\/strong>. Gabrielle<\/strong>\nhas spent a combined total of over four years on the Top 40<\/strong> of the Official<\/strong>\nAlbum<\/strong> and Singles<\/strong> Charts<\/strong>, exceeding 5 million<\/strong> sales\nin the process. In addition, she was part of the BBC\u2019s<\/strong> all-star version\nof Lou Reed\u2019s \u2018Perfect Day\u2019<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Highlights of her numerous awards include the prestigious Ivor\nNovello<\/strong> for Outstanding<\/strong> Song<\/strong> Collection<\/strong>; two BRIT<\/strong>\nAwards<\/strong> for British<\/strong> Breakthrough<\/strong> Act<\/strong> and British<\/strong>\nFemale<\/strong> Solo<\/strong> Artist<\/strong>; and both Best<\/strong> Album<\/strong> (\u2018Rise\u2019<\/strong>)\nand Best Single<\/strong> (\u2018Give Me A Little More Time\u2019<\/strong>) at the MOBO<\/strong>\nAwards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This summer has seen Gabrielle<\/strong> build on the success\nof \u2018Under My Skin\u2019<\/strong> by playing a near sold-out UK Headline Tour, BBC\u2019s\nProms In The Park (40,000)<\/strong>, Blenheim Palace with Gladys Knight,\nKingsholm Stadium with Nile Rogers <\/strong>as well as a summer full of festival\ndates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
