1.       2020-Arenacross-Tour-<\/a>\n2020 Arenacross Tour<\/strong> Belfast, 17 \u2013 18 January. The fastest motocross racers\nflock to the six-round series to take part in the UK\u2019s richest off-road series.\nWith bragging rights and a well-paid jackpot up for grabs, the riders leave\nnothing on the line resulting in knuckle to knuckle non-stop racing on the\narena sized dirt battlefield. Cheer on local riders as they battle the\ninternational superstars from the age of seven up to the professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.       So-Sing-On-with-Sean-Keane<\/a>\nSo Sing On with Se\u00e1n Keane<\/strong> Magherafelt, 17 January. Traditional Irish,\nfolk and even country and blues songs all lend themselves to his unique style\nand unforgettable voice. Growing up among singers and musicians, Se\u00e1n learned\nthe sean n\u00f3s style of singing in the heart of his family. Today, Se\u00e1n Keane\ncontinues to delight audiences all over the world with his live performances\nand innate vocal artistry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.       Out-to-Lunch-Festival<\/a>\nOut to Lunch Festival<\/strong> Belfast, 3 \u2013 26 January. A lunch-based arts\nfestival featuring the best in Comedy, Theatre, Literature and Music held in\nBelfast\u2019s vibrant Cathedral Quarter. The 2020 edition features Badly Drawn Boy,\nCerys Matthews, Janey Godley, Val McDermid, Joanne Harris and many more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.       SimplyE-Exhibition<\/a>\nSimplyE Exhibition<\/strong> Armagh, 2 \u2013 31 January. Craftswirl @ Armagh\nVisitor Information Centre are delighted to showcase a beautiful exhibition by\nSimplyE for their January exhibition. SimplyE is a maker, designer and a weaver\nof bespoke leather and weave products for use within the home and fashion\nindustry which are all individually hand woven from her design studio in County\nArmagh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.        Midleton-Whiskey-Experience<\/a>\nMidleton Whiskey Experience<\/strong> Belfast, 15 January. Guests will enjoy a\ncocktail on arrival and canap\u00e9s as the expert whiskey ambassador takes you\nthrough the Midleton range. Be one of the very first people in Northern Ireland\nto attend a guided tasting of the Midleton Very Rare 2019, as well as\ndelighting in the Midleton Very Rare 2018, the Midleton, Midleton Barry\nCrockett Legacy and a Midleton Dair Ghaelach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.       Walled-City-400<\/a>\nWalled City 400<\/strong> Derry~Londonderry, 18 February 2019 to 31 March 2020.\nLast year marked the 400th anniversary of the completion of the Derry Walls.\nBuilt from 1613-1619, the Walls are the largest ancient monument in Northern\nIreland, the only remaining Walled City in Ireland and one of the finest\nexamples of Walled Cities in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7.       On-Refusal-Representation-Resistance-in-Contemporary-American-Art<\/a>\nOn Refusal: Representation and Resistance in contemporary American Art<\/strong>\nBelfast, 25 October 2019 \u2013 19 January 2020. Proposing the body as a site of\npolitical enquiry, \u2018On Refusal\u2019 explores a return to figuration in the practices\nof a generation of artists currently working out of the United States, and\nexamines the political impetus for this reinvestment in the body and notions of\nembodiment as a subject of art in the context of contemporary America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8.       Life-Cycles-by-Lorna-Smyth<\/a>\nLife Cycle by Lorna Smyth<\/strong> Enniskillen, 2 December 2019 \u2013 18 April 2020.\nThis showcase of new works, curated by renowned artist Lorna Smyth, encompasses\nthe four seasons in one year. Lorna’s art emphasises the world around us,\nhighlights her love of nature and captures a sense of belonging regardless of\nthe place name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9.       Lost-Childhood-Exhibition<\/a>\nLost Childhood Exhibition<\/strong> Derry~Londonderry, 2 December 2019 \u2013 31st<\/sup>\nJanuary 2020. This December, take a trip to the award-winning Museum of Free\nDerry to see one of their most poignant and affective exhibitions yet, \u2018Lost\nChildhood Exhibition\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10.   Philanthropy-Past-and-Present-Tour<\/a>\nPhilanthropy Past and Present, Tour of Clifton House<\/strong> Belfast, 10 January\n\u2013 28 February. Clifton House is an impressive Georgian building, set in\ntranquil landscaped gardens in the heart of Belfast. Opened in 1774 by Belfast\nCharitable Society, the building was used as a nursing home and hospital for\nolder people, now transformed into a unique event venue and visitor attraction.\nThe January and February tours explore the city\u2019s oldest working building, set\nup by philanthropic merchants as the Belfast Poor House. Hear stories of its\nwork and those who sought refuge in its walls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
