Here are ten exciting things taking place 10 – 16 February\n2020. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.      \nhttps:\/\/armagh.space\/<\/a>\nSpecial Valentine\u2019s Day StarTracker <\/strong>Armagh, 14 February. A Valentine\u2019s\nDay trip to Armagh Observatory and Planetarium will show the special person in\nyour life that you love them to the stars and back. As the trend for\nexperiential gifts continues to rise, especially among social media users who\nenjoy having a unique event to share on their platforms, the Observatory and Planetarium\nis planning a special StarTracker evening on February 14. This is an\nopportunity for couples to view the cosmos and even track down the Valentine\u2019s\nStar, otherwise known as Betelgeuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.      \nVinyl-Island-Van-Morrison-Moondance<\/a> Vinyl\nIsland – Van Morrison Moondance<\/strong> Belfast, 15 February. Following the success\nof last season\u2019s new series for real music, real records and real history, BBC\nRadio Ulster\u2019s Ralph McLean revisits another classic album on vintage vinyl.\nWith expert analysis and live performances from his special guests, Ralph\ninvites you to fall back in love with your favourite music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.      \nMichael-Palin-in-Conversation<\/a>  Michael\nPalin in Conversation<\/strong> Magherafelt, 15 February. It has been 50 years since\nMichael Palin burst on to television screens as part of the anarchic comedy\nshow Monty Python\u2019s Flying Circus. Since then, Palin has become a national\ntreasure through his writing, acting and documentary making. His travel writing\nand broadcasting has been acclaimed for the last 30 years and since his\nground-breaking Around the World in 80 Days series, he has travelled from North\nKorea to the Sahara and from Pole to Pole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.      \nToddlers-Take-Over-The-Museum<\/a> Toddlers take\nover the museum<\/strong> Bangor, 14 February. The building will become a fun and\nexciting place for children aged 3-5 years old. Through the theme \u2018Vikings\u2019,\nkids will experience arts and crafts, storytelling and dancing. Come along and\nhave fun at North Down Museum!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.      \nNorthern-Ireland-Puddle-Jumping-Championships<\/a> NI\nPuddle Jumping Championships<\/strong> Newtownards, 15 \u2013 20 February. Put on your\nwellies, get out into nature and have a splashing time. Come rain or shine, the\nPuddle Jumping Championships are the perfect activity for a fun filled family\nday out. Splash about in the \u2018practice puddles\u2019 throughout the day and get-set\nfor the daily competitions with splash-tastic prizes to be won!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.      \nNI-Science-Festival<\/a> NI Science Festival<\/strong>\nBelfast, 13 \u2013 23 February. Join NI Science Festival as they celebrate the\nscience of you, the universe and everything in between. These events present\nsome of the best scientists from NI and beyond to discuss their work,\ncutting-edge research and what the future might hold. During the day, the\nfestival offers a range of workshops, talks and interactive activities for\nyoung people, parents and schools. In the evening there will be an eclectic mix\nof scientific debate, talks, theatres, comedy, music and film for adults.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7.      \nSilent-Light<\/a> Silent Light<\/strong> Coleraine, 9 \u2013\n23 February. Visitors will be steeped in the landscape, embarking on a silent\nwalk to Mussenden Temple which sits perched at the edge of a 120ft cliff\noverlooking the North Atlantic Ocean. Within the Temple, an installation of the\nartist\u2019s \u2018Stained Moons\u2019 artwork awaits. The viewings will take place in\nsilence and in darkness, after twilight, for fourteen nights in February. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

8.      \nRustioni-conducts-Music-for-Valentines<\/a> Rustioni\nConducts Music for Valentine\u2019s<\/strong> Belfast, 14 February. The Ulster Orchestra\nhas had a long and treasured relationship with the pianist and conductor Howard\nShelley, recording regularly together. Shelley is an elegant and delightful\nperformer of Mozart, capable of bringing out all the charm and drama of the\nmusic. This concert is an opportunity to celebrate Shelley\u2019s 70th birthday in\nfine musical style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9.      \nCosmic-Cuilcagh-Legnabrocky<\/a> Cosmic Cuilcagh<\/strong>\nEnniskillen, 14 February. The Marble Arch Caves Visitor Centre, nestled in the\nfoothills of Cuilcagh Mountain, is a perfect place to observe and learn more\nabout the mysterious night sky. Join staff, the Irish Astronomical Association\nand Sirius Science for an exciting evening involving outdoor stargazing, a 3D\nshow and an array of entertaining interactive indoor activities to include a\nMighty Meteorite workshop and more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

10.  \nStena-Line-Belfast-Giants-vs-Manchester-Storm<\/a> Stena\nLine Belfast Giants VS Manchester Storm<\/strong> Belfast, 15 February. Join the\nStena Line Belfast Giants as they take on Manchester Storm in Elite Ice Hockey\nLeague action on Saturday 15 February. Experience the thrill and excitement of\nice hockey at The SSE Arena, Belfast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
