Belfast Children\u2019s\nFestival has become one of the largest children\u2019s arts festivals on the island\nof Ireland and the UK, attracting over 15000 people last year. This year\u2019s\nfestival will explore the concepts of home, place and belonging. There’s lots\nto choose from, so whether you have a toddler or a teen, it\u2019s worth checking\nout the full programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.<\/strong>      \n<\/strong>CultureLab<\/a>\nCultureLab <\/strong>Belfast, 21 February \u2013 30 November.CultureLab is a\nplace to take a good, hard look at the cultural stereotypes that we all know\nsurround us in Northern Ireland. This new exhibition poses questions about\nculture and offers a glimpse into how identities have been, and continue to be,\nshaped. The exhibition includes the famous \u2018Differences\u2019 blackboard from the\nhit TV series Derry Girls, which is on public display for the very first time<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.<\/strong>      \n<\/strong>Coast-and-Country<\/a>\nCoast and Country<\/strong> Coleraine, 8 Feb \u2013 12 December 2020. Tour\nthe rooms of Castle Ward where the team at Castle Ward has unearthed some of\nMary\u2019s own treasured belongings to tell the tale of her pioneering life\nincluding her famed microscope. Following the talk from their experts, retire\nto the theatre for tea and scones<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.       Home-of-St-Patrick-Festival<\/a>\nHome of St Patrick Festival<\/strong> Armagh, 6 \u2013 17 March. Armagh is at the heart\nof celebrating the life of Patrick and the \u201cHome of St. Patrick Festival\u201d\npromises a lively and varied showcase of the best culture, music and spirituality.\nThe festival will provide an unrivalled mix of regional and international\nmusic, theatre, spoken word, art and comedy, highlighting the stunning\nlocations where he walked and worked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.       Rademon-Estate-Distillery-Tour<\/a>\nRademon Estate Distillery Tour<\/strong> Downpatrick, 21 Feb \u2013 2 May. Learn all\nabout their foraged botanicals, unique gin and whiskey processes, stand next to\ntheir three beautiful copper pot stills and meet the founders Fiona and David.\nJust remember to take time to enjoy the views in their beautiful location with\na pre\/post tour cocktail at the bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7.       Dynamic-Dye-Tracing-Experiment-at-the-Marble-Arch-Caves<\/a>\nDynamic Dye Tracing Experiment at the Marble Arch Caves<\/strong> Enniskillen, 14\nMarch. Join their friends from the Geological Survey of Northern Ireland and\nthe Marble Arch Caves staff to hear about the hydrology of these fascinating\ncaves while watching the Shruh Croppa River turn a luminous shade of green.\nFind out more about the tracing experiments that have been carried out in the\nwonderfully wet County of Fermanagh<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The comedy\nsensation, Give My Head Peace Live returns to the Millennium Forum in March\nwith a brand new show promising a satirical look at everything happening in\nNorthern Ireland today. 9.       Saint-Patricks-Day-Steam-Saturday<\/a>\nSaint Patrick\u2019s Day Steam Saturday<\/strong> Carrickfergus, 14 March. The Museum\nwill be celebrating Saint Patrick\u2019s Weekend with steam train rides from\nWhitehead Excursion Platform and a themed Treasure Hunt.
