Classical music lovers can look forward to a special performance by the <strong>Ulster Orchestra<\/strong> at Bangor Abbey on 20 June, while folk group <strong>Cua<\/strong> will grace the <em>Music in the Chamber<\/em> stage at Bangor Castle on 16 May.<\/p>\n<p>To commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day, North Down Museum will host a compelling programme of events, including an exhibition, an expert talk, and a living history experience with <em>Valhalla Theatre<\/em>. The museum will also present a range of family-friendly activities, including children\u2019s yoga and a celebration of bees, alongside a busy schedule of thought-provoking exhibitions, such as <em>\u2018Inspiration and Transformation\u2019<\/em>, which pays tribute to influential artists from County Down.<\/p>\n<p>In June, the stunning Walled Garden at Bangor Castle will once again provide the backdrop for the much-anticipated <em>ForM Sculpture Exhibition<\/em>, showcasing works from talented artists from across the island of Ireland. This year, the exhibition will also feature as part of Bangor\u2019s<em> Late Night Art<\/em> event on 26 June.<\/p>\n<p>For those keen to explore their artistic side, the <em>Creative Peninsula<\/em> festival in August offers a fantastic opportunity to engage in arts and crafts. With workshops led by local artists, studio visits, and the popular <em>Creative Peninsula in the Square<\/em> event, it\u2019s a must for anyone interested in creativity.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Ards Arts Centre is offering an array of creative classes catering to all skill levels. From silversmithing and calligraphy to drawing and ceramics, there are plenty of ways to develop new talents.
