Watch traditional techniques come to life with demonstrations from the Ulster Guild of Spinners,<b>\u00a0<\/b>Weavers and Dyers, as well as bobbin lace making.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Whether you&#8217;re an experienced textile artist, a curious beginner, or simply looking for a fun and colourful family day out,\u00a0<strong>Spinning Yarns<\/strong>\u00a0has something for everyone. Immerse yourself in the creative world of textile arts through a variety of hands-on workshops (available at an additional cost), including\u00a0<em>Upcycling Denim<\/em><i>,\u00a0<\/i><em>Visible Mending<\/em><i>, and\u00a0<\/i><em>Tunisian Crochet, p<\/em>erfect for picking up new techniques and crafting your own unique handmade pieces.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Following the debut of her stunning Causeway pattern at last year\u2019s event, renowned crochet designer Eleonora Tully returns as this year\u2019s keynote speaker to celebrate 10 years of Coastal Crochet. You don\u2019t need to be an expert, Eleonora\u2019s talk promises inspiration for all. She\u2019ll unravel the mysteries of crochet, share insights into her design process, and offer practical tips and tricks to boost your crochet confidence.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Leah Kirkpatrick, invites everyone to take part in the festivities: \u201cSpinning Yarns is a vibrant celebration of our Borough\u2019s rich textile heritage and creative spirit.
