{"id":24593,"date":"2025-11-04T13:37:26","date_gmt":"2025-11-04T12:37:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/whatsonni.com\/news\/?p=24593"},"modified":"2025-11-04T13:40:06","modified_gmt":"2025-11-04T12:40:06","slug":"northern-irelands-most-magical-christmas-event-returns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whatsonni.com\/news\/2025\/11\/northern-irelands-most-magical-christmas-event-returns\/","title":{"rendered":"Northern Ireland\u2019s Most Magical Christmas Event Returns"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Presented by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, the much-loved <em>Enchanted Winter Garden<\/em> will return to Antrim Castle Gardens from <strong>Friday 28 November to Tuesday 30 December 2025<\/strong>, promising to be its most dazzling year yet.<\/h4>\n<p><strong>In response to the event\u2019s growing popularity, Enchanted Winter Garden will run for an additional four nights, giving families the opportunity to experience the magic through the festive season and up to just before New Year\u2019s Eve.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright wp-image-24594\" src=\"https:\/\/whatsonni.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/1-courtyard-glasgow-gym-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" \/>This year\u2019s event introduces a host of exciting new features designed to elevate the experience for visitors of all ages. Among the highlights is the debut of the <strong>Enchanted Tree Choir<\/strong>, a new attraction that will see the trees of the forest brought to life.<\/p>\n<p>The funfair has also been expanded, offering <strong>new, more thrilling rides<\/strong> to entertain both the little and big kids. Visitors can also look forward to a series of brand-new light installations, including a striking light show.<\/p>\n<p>Returning favourites will also make a welcome appearance, including the <strong>Festive Food Fayre<\/strong>, serving up delicious seasonal treats and of course <strong>Santa\u2019s Grotto<\/strong>, where families can meet the man himself until 23 December.<\/p>\n<p>Post Christmas, when Santa heads home for a well-earned rest, his Grotto will be taken over by <strong>The Grinch<\/strong>, who\u2019ll be up to no good as he brings his own mischievous twist to attendees from 27 \u2013 30 December.<\/p>\n<p>The Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Leah Kirkpatrick said, \u201cAs an Antrim woman and a mum of two, the Enchanted Winter Garden holds a very special place in my heart. It\u2019s a magical experience for families and a chance to make lasting memories together right here in our beautiful Antrim Castle Gardens.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The event will also continue its commitment to accessibility, with Inclusive Evenings on 4 and 10 December, offering reduced lighting, sound levels and a relaxed environment for visitors with additional needs.
