Through panel discussions and creative workshops,\u00a0<i>Words, In Other Places<\/i>\u00a0will explore storytelling across borders, languages and traditions.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright wp-image-24891\" src=\"https:\/\/whatsonni.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1-1-947x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"541\" srcset=\"https:\/\/whatsonni.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1-1-947x1024.jpg 947w, https:\/\/whatsonni.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1-1-277x300.jpg 277w, https:\/\/whatsonni.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1-1-768x830.jpg 768w, https:\/\/whatsonni.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1-1.jpg 1365w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/>Each day will feature three distinct events, offering audiences the opportunity to engage with some of the most compelling writers working today.<\/div>\n<div><b>Saturday 11 April \u2013 Seamus Heaney Centre, Queen\u2019s University Belfast<\/b><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>12pm \u2013 Inside Out: Telling Tales Elsewhere<\/b>\u00a0&#8211; An hour-long panel discussion featuring Louise Nealon, Patrick Holloway and Rob Doyle, hosted by Martin Doyle.<\/div>\n<div><b>1.30pm \u2013 Creative Writing Workshop<\/b>\u00a0&#8211; A two-hour workshop with Sarah Moore Fitzgerald.<\/div>\n<div><b>4pm \u2013 Literature in Translation: Words Beyond Borders<\/b>\u00a0&#8211; A panel discussion with Csilla Toldy, Enrica Maria Ferrara and Rafael Mendes, hosted by Lucy Sweeney Byrne.<\/div>\n<div><i>Books will be available for sale from No Alibis Bookstore.<\/i><\/div>\n<div><b>Sunday 12 April \u2013 Irish Writers Centre, Dublin<\/b><\/div>\n<div><b>12pm \u2013 Inside Out: Telling Tales Elsewhere<\/b>\u00a0&#8211; Featuring Jan Carson, Leontia Flynn and Wendy Erskine, hosted by Neil Hegarty.<\/div>\n<div><b>1.30pm \u2013 Creative Writing Workshop<\/b>\u00a0&#8211; A two-hour workshop with Paul McVeigh.<\/div>\n<div><b>4pm \u2013 Literature in Translation: Words Beyond Borders<\/b>\u00a0&#8211; With Hugo Hamilton, Suad Aldarra and Victoria Melkovska, hosted by Adam Wyeth.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><i>Books will be available for sale from Chapters Bookstore.<\/i><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Mags McLoughlin, CEO of the Irish Writers Centre, said: \u201cWe are proud to partner with the European Parliament Liaison Office in Ireland on\u00a0<i>Words, In Other Places<\/i>.
