The evening will conclude when an amazing Motown-themed fireworks display will illuminate the night sky.<\/p>\n<p>Compering the evening\u2019s entertainment will be Radio Ulster\u2019s Hugo Duncan who will guide the audience through the event\u2019s performers. The evening will kick off with The Dirty Blues Band, a brilliant bluegrass modern country outfit.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.whatsonni.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/grainne-duffy1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-3014\" title=\"grainne duffy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.whatsonni.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/grainne-duffy1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"407\" height=\"321\" \/><\/a>Ronnie Greer Almost Big Band showcases the superb blues and jazz guitarist Ronnie Greer, the band has the added talent of Anthony Toner and will guest star Grainne Duffy, it will be pure quality with an all- star line-up.<\/p>\n<p>The headline act will not disappoint, The Soul Foundation are a captivating, energetic and emphatically in your face 11 piece soul band that encapsulates the raw power of the sixties soul megabands. They will be belting out recognisable songs from that era, think Wilson Picket, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye and the Commitments and you are on the right track. Groomsport is sure to be alive with the sound of Soul!<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the event, Alison Stobie, North Down Borough Council Tourism Manager said, \u2018I\u2019m thrilled with this year\u2019s line-up.
