\"\"<\/a>LONDON \/ NEW YORK \u2013 17 October 2011<\/strong> \u2013 The line-up at the \u201c2011 MTV EMA<\/strong>\u201d keeps getting more and more impressive, as MTV<\/a> today announced that Lady Gaga <\/strong>and Bruno Mars <\/strong>\u2013 two of the hottest pop sensations in recent years, and this year\u2019s <\/strong>top female and male EMA nominees \u2013 will both perform at the show in Belfast. Additionally, the first batch of 2011 MTV EMA presenters has been announced: Nicole \u201cSnooki\u201d Polizzi <\/strong>and Jenni \u201cJWOWW\u201d Farley <\/strong>of Jersey Shore<\/em><\/strong> fame, <\/strong>and Ashley Rickards <\/strong>from MTV\u2019s newest hit scripted series Awkward<\/em><\/strong> are confirmed to appear. <\/strong>Hosted by multi-talented singer and actress Selena Gomez, <\/strong>the \u201c2011 MTV EMA\u201d will premiere Sunday, November 6th at 9PM BST<\/strong>. The \u201c2011 MTV EMA<\/a>\u201d is sponsored by Dell, Replay, Hyundai and Swatch. Local host city support is provided by Belfast City Council and the Northern Ireland Tourist Board. <\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s been an incredible 2011 for Gaga and Mars, both GRAMMY\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong>-winning, world-renowned artists. Gaga, leader of the Little Monsters who fascinates all with her musical genius, fashion sense and performance art, has been enjoying the huge success of her third studio album Born This Way<\/em><\/strong>, while Mars, music\u2019s top quadruple threat, achieved multi-platinum status for his debut album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans<\/em><\/strong>, and will end his sold-out European tour with a performance at the MTV EMA.<\/p>\n

Gaga and Mars join previously announced EMA performers Coldplay, Jessie J <\/strong>and LMFAO,<\/strong> all of whom will rock the stage at the Odyssey Arena; Red Hot Chili Peppers, <\/strong>who will perform at Belfast\u2019s legendary Ulster Hall; and Snow Patrol<\/strong> and Jason Derulo<\/strong>, who will take the stage at Belfast\u2019s iconic City Hall. This is the first time the \u201cMTV EMA\u201d will be presented from three locations throughout the show\u2019s host city.<\/p>\n

About Bruno Mars<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

It might seem that Bruno Mars appeared out of nowhere, co-writing, producing and performing on B.o.B’s #1 “Nothin’ On You” followed by Travie McCoy’s chart-climbing “Billionaire”, but he makes one thing clear: “It’s not an overnight success”. Mars is a multitalented singer, songwriter, producer and musician who feels most at home when he\u2019s performing. Born to a musical family in Honolulu, Hawaii, he was practically raised on the stage and the only place he would rather be than in the recording studio, is with his band on stage \u2013 where he grew up.<\/p>\n
