{"id":3951,"date":"2012-03-02T15:31:17","date_gmt":"2012-03-02T14:31:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.whatsonni.com\/news\/?p=3951"},"modified":"2012-03-02T15:46:26","modified_gmt":"2012-03-02T14:46:26","slug":"i-love-saturdays-on-the-lisburn-road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whatsonni.com\/news\/2012\/03\/i-love-saturdays-on-the-lisburn-road\/","title":{"rendered":"I Love Saturdays on the Lisburn Road!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>Lisburn Road<\/strong> will be celebrating Belfast Independent Retail Week with a free family friendly fun day on <strong>Saturday 10<sup>th<\/sup> March<\/strong> in conjunction with Belfast City Council from <strong>1pm \u2013 4pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.whatsonni.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/copius.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-3956\" title=\"copius\" src=\"http:\/\/www.whatsonni.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/copius-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>Following on from successful past events, the day plans to be highly entertaining and engaging for audiences of all ages with live performances, big shop promotions and freebies, \u00a0face painting, \u00a0balloon modelling and acrobatic entertainment such as stilt walking and juggling through local performers Streetwise Community Circus and much more.<\/p>\n<p>The fun day is a way to introduce people to the <strong>Lisburn Road<\/strong> and to showcase the fantastic range of unique independent retailers and services we have here. It\u2019s hoped that people from around the country can get together and discover Belfast\u2019s wonderful <strong><em>Style Mile<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Organised by the <strong>Lisburn Road Business Association (LRBA)<\/strong> and co-funded by Belfast City Council.
