The programme sounds absolutely fantastic, and the fact that it is taking place during the UK City of Culture year adds to the excitement and anticipation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Wozniak will be joined on 30<sup>th<\/sup> May by Sir Tim Smit KBE, famous for his work with the world-renowned Eden Project and USA based Richard Florida, the best-selling author on the economic importance of the creative industries.<\/p>\n<p>Outlining the programme, Dr Bernard Toal, Chief Executive of NORIBIC said that the (EBN) Congress is of huge significance in the business innovation sector and attracts a high-powered audience comprising international decision-makers, investors and business angels.\u00a0 \u201cIt is a massive coup to win the opportunity to host this conference, as it is the first time it is being held in Northern Ireland, and we are pulling out all the stops to deliver an event with a difference.\u00a0 Derry\u2019s status as City of Culture will be woven into the three days which will focus on the themes of Digital, Social and Cultural Innovation.\u00a0 Testament to the importance of the Congress is the calibre of sponsorship it has attracted and we are delighted today to announce that Ilex has joined the Department for Culture Arts &amp; Leisure (DCAL) and Invest NI as Principal Sponsor.\u00a0 Given Ilex\u2019s strategic role in the economic growth of North West its support is particularly welcome.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Matt McNulty, Interim Chair of Ilex added,\u201cIlex is delighted to support the EBN Congress in Derry~Londonderry.\u00a0 Not only will this conference draw people from around the world to the city, it will positively promote its regeneration in line with our ambition of the One Plan.
