It\u2019s all part of the family fun at 6<sup>th<\/sup> Belfast Nashville Songwriters Festival, which features forty two concerts in five days from 24<sup>th<\/sup>-28<sup>th<\/sup> February.\u00a0 Festival Director Colin Magee said;<\/p>\n<p><em><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_913\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-913\" style=\"width: 180px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><em><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-913\" href=\"http:\/\/www.whatsonni.com\/blog\/?attachment_id=913\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-913 \" title=\"Nashville's Carlene Carter 1 (2)\" src=\"http:\/\/www.whatsonni.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/Nashvilles-Carlene-Carter-1-2-300x240.jpg\" alt=\"Nashville's Carlene Carter\" width=\"180\" height=\"144\" \/><\/a><\/em><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-913\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nashville&#39;s Carlene Carter<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cwe\u2019ve organised some great music throughout the week and now we\u2019re taking Belfast Nashville out onto the street. There\u2019ll be American cars in the Botanic Avenue area and free songwriter showcases at Madisons Hotel.\u00a0 Nashville food specials will feature on several menus and international Nashville artists such as Carlene Carter and Nanci Griffith will be sharing a stage with talented local writers\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Each year, the festival features song writing talent drawn from every part of Northern Ireland. Many artists travel to the event to take part in the Song Writing Convention and to perform in free showcase concerts. Joining the local artists throughout the week will be household names such as Midge Ure and Ralph McTell.
