Whether preparing meals, gathering around the table, or unwinding beside the warmth of the woodburning stove, this space is perfect for spending quality time together. The fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed for a comfortable self-catering stay, (dishwasher, washing machine, air fryer and coffee machine), while a separate utility room adds extra convenience.
The cottage sleeps up to six guests across three twin bedrooms. A ground-floor bedroom is complemented by a modern wet room, making it a practical option for guests seeking easier access. Upstairs, two additional twin rooms each benefit from their own en-suite facilities, offering privacy and comfort for all guests. Thoughtful finishing touches such as Rituals hand wash and luxury shower gel/shampoo are available to enhance your stay.
Outside, a patio area with seating provides a peaceful spot to enjoy fresh air and countryside views. Guests also have access to a shared games room, complete with a pool table—ideal for relaxed evenings or a bit of friendly competition.
Finn Cottage is also dog-friendly, welcoming one small, well-behaved pet, so your four-legged companion can enjoy the getaway too. Alongside sister cottages Strule, Finn and Foyle (named after the local rivers), it combines modern comfort with warm Irish hospitality.
A short drive along the Donegal coast reveals some truly astonishing beaches stretching for miles. These beaches are enjoyed all year round. You can drive onto most of the beaches, where you can enjoy a picnic or use your car as a changing area to go swimming, surfing, playing ball games or building sandcastles with the kids. Rossnowlagh Beach is approximately an hour's drive away and offers breath-taking views, making it an ideal destination for surfing or a family day out. It also features a designated car free zone, providing a safe and enjoyable space for children.
