This is an ideal base for exploring Portstewart area including Strand Beach and coast while also being in walking distance of restaurants, bars and shops.

The property is located 2 minutes walk away from the coastal path which leads to Portstewart promenade and further on to Portstewart Strand or in the opposite direct to Portrush. The apartment is also minutes away walk from the local Portstewart town golf course. Portstewart promenade with it's many cafes and restaurants is a 5-10 minute walk and it is recommended to walk as there is limited car parking on the promenade. The apartment has on-street parking but also benefits from additional space to the rear of the property which is accessed via a private entry. This can be used for secure parking. The living room is spacious and is open plan to the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is set up with everything you will need for cooking and entertaining, which includes an induction hob, fan oven, a dishwasher, microwave and a Nespresso (original) coffee machine. There is seating for 4 people at the dining table. The master bedroom benefits from an ensuite shower-room and guests have access to the rear patio from this bedroom. Bedroom 2 also has access to the rear patio. There is a shower-room beside bedroom 2 which can also be used as the main bathroom.

The apartment is located in a newly refurbished terraced house which has 2 apartments - A and B. Apartment A is based on the ground floor and shares a communal hallway with Apartment B. Apartment B is upstairs however is not permanently occupied by anyone and is used occasionally by the host. Guests have access to all the ground floor including a private rear patio and a seating area at the front of the house which gets the evening sun. Guests can use the area to the rear of the house (accessed via a private entry lane) for additional parking for 1 car or motorbike(s). The bins are kept in this area as well. This space is kept locked.


Directions from Town

By Bus/Train You can get a train to Coleraine or continue towards Portrush. At either station, you will need to change to a bus - either 140a or 140b. Both buses service the Coleraine Triangle (Portrush/Portstewart/Coleraine in both directions). There is a bus stop at the bottom of Central Avenue at the York Hotel. Walk up Central Avenue to the top of the hill and the house is on the left hand side.

Keys will be provided in the secure lock box which is on the front wall. There will be a key for the front door and then one for the inner door for Apartment A.


Getting to the start by car

By car From Portrush - drive along A2 coastal road until you reach Amici Restaurant on the right hand side. Just after Amici you will see the York hotel on the left. At York Hotel turn left onto Central Avenue. The house is at the top of the hill on the left hand side. There is on-street parking.

From Coleraine (Station Road) - drive along Station Road all the way to the A2/Portmore Road. Turn left onto the Portmore Road and then left again onto Central Avenue. The house is at the top of the hill on the left hand side.

From Coleraine (Coleraine Road) - drive into Portstewart towards the Promenade. Drive along the Promenade and past the Harbour. Keep driving until you see the York Hotel on the right hand side. Immediately turn right at the hotel onto Central Avenue and the house is at the top of the hill on the left hand side.
