The Book House

The Book House is light and spacious, an energy-efficient Passive House set on a farm just outside the village of Crawfordsburn, 2.5 miles from Bangor city centre and a 20-minute drive to Belfast City Airport. The large ensuite upstairs guest room looks out on the surrounding fields.

The hosts offer a good continental breakfast each morning.

Location Description

Take the A2 Belfast to Bangor dual carriageway. About 4 miles past Holywood, you will pass a Vauxhall car sales showroom on the left, just before traffic lights. Keep straight through the lights, and after approximately one mile, you will see several businesses at a corner, including Clearly Aquatics. Turn left here on to Cootehall Road. Our turning is about 500 metres down the road, where you’ll see a sign to Duncan’s Sheds. Turn left, then right after the cattle crossing, and The Book House is the house on the left at the top of the lane.
