Embark on a musical journey at the Saturday Afternoon Club in the American Bar, where the enchanting collaboration between pianist and vocalist Kyron Bourke and the virtuoso trumpeter Linley Hamilton takes center stage. With over a decade of musical camaraderie, this duo, accompanied by the rhythmic finesse of Brian Rice on drums, forms an effortlessly cool trio that guarantees an unforgettable experience.

Delve into a set that ingeniously transforms classic modern tunes into jazz standards, showcasing the trio's versatility. From the poetic depths of Nick Cave to the soulful melodies of Stevie Wonder, and the iconic sounds of Joy Division to the timeless allure of Tom Waits – this trio weaves a tapestry of musical magic. Explore unexpected delights with songs from Sinead O'Connor, Elbow, Leonard Cohen, Kylie Minogue, Lou Reed, and even Minnie Riperton.

Kyron Bourke, a true outsider and Dubliner in Belfast, serves as the broken city's minstrel. His songs of guilt and experience are delivered with a wry smile, creating a unique and compelling atmosphere.

Alongside him is Dr Linley Hamilton, a distinguished musician, educator, and broadcaster from Northern Ireland. As a Doctor of Jazz Performance and Lecturer of Music at Ulster University Magee, Linley is a prominent figure in the jazz scene, leading his own jazz quintet and presenting "Jazz World with Linley Hamilton" on BBC Radio Ulster. His skillful trumpet and flugelhorn playing add an extra layer of brilliance to the ensemble.
