This experience is a Guided Electric Bike Tour around the shoreline of stunning Strangford Lough, with an artisan picnic.

Take a guided bike tour on Strangford Lough Activity Centre's brand-new fleet of E Bikes. Leaving from their base on Sketrick Island, near Whiterock, explore the back roads with guided commentary throughout. Knowledgeable guides will put you at ease before setting off on a two-hour tour.

With stunning views over the drumlin islands, castles and monastic sites there will be plenty of photo opportunities throughout. Hear the history, get the wind in your hair and enjoy an adventure without breaking sweat!

Wheel your way through the myriad of country roads and over the hills with ease on our top of the range E Bikes safe in the knowledge that our guides will show you the way and keep you safe.

Heading North towards Comber taking a detour to explore Nendrum Monastic site, you will enjoy an artisan picnic with an idyllic vantage point over the whole lough. Learn about the smugglers of Strangford Lough - Daft Eddie and the Merry Hearts of Down. Hear how the monks worked the land in a bygone era and how the Viking raids changed the landscape and place names in the area.

The tour offers potential stops along the way to include unique providers in the area.

The E bikes are electric assisted and whilst manageable by all abilities and ages,  participants must have the ability to ride a bicycle. There are a range of sizes and styles to choose from, Strangford Lough Activity Centre will help to get you something to suit.
