A New for 2024 escorted excursion by coach. Opportunity to learn about how gin is made from field to glass.

Calling all Gin enthusiasts! Need a tonic this summer, then hop on-board our escorted coach tour. First stop, Mount Stewart Estate, where their knowledgeable team will guide you through the spectacular gardens, universally renowned for their plant collections. Gain an insight into the variety of botanicals which are carefully infused to create your favourite gin. Then it’s onto the award-winning Echlinville Distillery, to discover the story of Ireland's first farm distillery. 

Enjoy a light lunch and an opportunity to experience the fine art of gin making and sample the product!

Getting there

By Car: from Belfast follow the A20 along Kempe Stones Road to Newtownards.  At the roundabout take the 1st exit along Blair Mayne Road South.  At the traffic lights turn right onto Church Street/ Regent Street.  Conway Square on the right.

By Bus from Belfast: Ulsterbus Bus No, 7, 9 &10 to Bus Station. See Translink NI website for bus departure and arrival times.

 

Accessibility                                                                                                                                  Tour covers uneven ground and steep inclines. Please wear suitable footwear. Whilst we endeavour to make our experiences accessible for all, limitations can prevent this. Unfortunately, on this occasion, the tour cannot accommodate wheelchair users.                                                                   

Carers Where practicable providers within the Experience Programme will aim to accommodate carers and be as inclusive as possible. With such a diverse range of activities, operated by a number of providers, it is necessary for this to be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
