Beltaine: Festival Flame Embroidery Workshop

Festival Flame: a craft workshop for Beltaine. Create your own sacred flame of Beltaine in this embroidery workshop facilitated by Eimear Fox, which allows you to create and take home the symbolic flame of the third great festival of the Celtic Calendar. Come Beltaine all the fires in the land were snuffed out and only relit using the embers of the sacred fire at Uisneach, the spiritual centre of all Ireland. The workshop is suitable for all abilities as expert tuition is provided, along with all of the materials you will need. 

Eimear Fox is a designer and textile artist from County Down. Having studied at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, she has years of experience in the creation of costumes and puppetry for film, TV, live theatre and events. Her film and TV credits include Game of Thrones, The Northman and School for Good and Evil.
