When lockdown struck and entrepreneur Philip Davison was left furloughed and bored he decided to make the best of his time.

In 2020 he set up Dished Up Deli, a food delivery company. As the business expanded and Philip left his full time position as a catering manager for one of Northern Ireland's largest companies he quickly became a catering consultant alongside Dished Up Deli.

In 2023 the opportunity arose for Philip to expand his business to include The Hills Bar & Restaurant at Castlereagh Golf Club. In his session Philip will speak candidly about the challenges he faced and how he overcame them as well as how he successfully won the catering and operations tender for The Hills.

Rachel Doherty is a multi-award-winning business consultant with over 15 years’ experience in strategic marketing, communications, and business transformation. With an MSc in Executive Leadership and a BSc (Hons) in Public Relations, Rachel has spearheaded initiatives that have enabled SMEs to double turnover and workforce size in just two years.

Rachel’s expertise spans business strategy, transformation, and growth, with a proven track record in roles such as Managing Director, Non-Executive Director in the third sector, and Head of Marketing & Business Development in the engineering and manufacturing industries. A TEDx speaker and accomplished trainer, Rachel holds a Level 3 qualification in Education & Training and has delivered accredited OCN and ILM courses.

In 2024, she was appointed as a Subject Matter Expert across 13 specialisms on the Go Succeed framework. Rachel’s passion lies in driving integrated, impactful change, using her extensive knowledge to empower businesses to achieve success and sustainable growth.
