As part of our series of roadshows, networking events and coffee mornings Go Succeed In The Community Lisburn & Castlereagh will give you the opportunity to learn from local entrepreneurs who are revealing their success stories and top tips for business growth.

Join us for Celebrating Women in Business: Connect & Collaborate, where we'll hear how you can use your entrepreneurial spirit to make a difference within your community.

At this event we will be joined by Tori McCaughey from Tori’s Bakes & Cakes who will be telling us how she uses the power of networking to build her business.

This event offers a unique opportunity to:

  • Hear Tori's story and other local entrepreneurs as to how they built their business
  • Get actionable advice on how to use your business to benefit your community
  • Participate in an interactive Q&A session to address your networking challenges and goals.

Whether you're looking to expand your network, enhance your personal brand, or connect with like-minded professionals, this event is your chance to learn from local entrepreneurs.

This networking event will also give you an insight into what resources and support are available locally to support your journey into business or in the development of your business.

You will hear how the Go Succeed programme can empower your business journey. Whether you’re a budding entrepreneur taking your first steps, aiming to grow an established business, or ready to scale to the next level, we’ll tell you how you can get access to our team of industry experts who can provide you with personalised support and practical guidance to help you achieve your business goals.

This event is delivered as part of the Go Succeed Community Outreach programme, and brought to you by Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council.

SPEAKERS

Tori McCaughey – Tori’s Coffee, Bakes and Cakes

Tori McCaughey is the proud owner of Tori’s Coffee, Bakes and Cakes, a vibrant bakery nestled in the heart of Royal Hillsborough. Combining modern twists with traditional baking, Tori’s business has quickly become a favourite for locals and visitors alike, offering everything from deconstructed fifteens to brookies, all crafted by her all-female team on-site.

Tori’s passion for baking began as a childhood hobby, inspired by her grandmother in Donegal. After years of honing her skills and working in hospitality, she took a leap of faith mid-pandemic, leaving her job to pursue her dream of owning a bakery. Her risk paid off, and her business has flourished, earning her a spot in Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council’s Royal Hillsborough and Historic Moira programme since 2022.

With ambitious plans to expand into sit-in cafes, Tori remains committed to creating exceptional experiences for her customers while supporting her local community.
