Workshop: Who Created the Irish Townland System?

Join us for a fun and interactive session where you play detective! Using clues from history, language, and archaeology – you decide: Is it a native Irish system? Or was it introduced by the Vikings? Or the Anglo-Normans?

Led by language scholar Paul Tempan, this workshop will offer the opportunity to learn about what each culture contributed to medieval Ireland.
