Belfast Championship Dog Show Returns to the Eikon Exhibition Centre for 2025
One of Ireland’s most prestigious canine events is making its grand return. The Belfast Championship Dog Show will once again take over the Eikon Exhibition Centre, bringing a celebration of pedigree poise, wagging tails, and top-tier competition.
Since its early days, the Belfast Dog Show Society, founded in 1880, has grown into one of the most esteemed dog show organisers in the UK and Ireland. Today, the Belfast Championship Dog Show is Ireland’s largest championship dog show, the only All-Breed Championship under Kennel Club rules in the country, and a coveted qualifier for Crufts — the crown jewel of the dog show world.
Last year’s 2024 edition drew over 2,200 dogs from across more than 170 breeds, judged by an impressive line-up of internationally renowned experts. Visitors were treated to dazzling agility runs, flawless obedience displays, and a bustling marketplace for all things canine.
The 2025 show promises to be even bigger and better, with:
Over 2,000 entries across an extraordinary variety of breeds
Exciting competitions showcasing agility, obedience, and breed standards at the highest level
Trade stands galore — from stylish dog leads and plush beds to gourmet treats and professional grooming supplies
Family-friendly fun — meet the breeds, speak to seasoned handlers, and even find the perfect furry companion
The Eikon Exhibition Centre’s spacious halls and excellent facilities will provide the perfect backdrop for the three-day celebration, giving visitors plenty of room to browse, watch, and mingle with dog lovers from across Ireland and beyond.
Whether you’re an owner, breeder, competitor, or simply a fan of man’s best friend, the Belfast Championship Dog Show offers an unmissable mix of high-calibre competition and heartwarming canine charm.
