Experience the Magic of Christmas at Hillmount with a Visit to Santa’s Grotto and Support Cancer Fund for Children

Families across Northern Ireland are invited to step into a world of Christmas wonder as Santa’s Grotto lights up Hillmount this festive season in a proud partnership with Cancer Fund for Children. This year’s Grotto experience promises to be more magical than ever, offering children and parents the chance to create memories to last a lifetime while supporting a vital local charity.

From the moment families arrive, they will be immersed in the sights, sounds, and spirit of Christmas. The Grotto has been transformed into a whimsical festive escape, complete with sparkling lights, winter scenes, the opportunity to chat with Mrs Claus, and of course, a personal meeting with Santa himself. Children will have the opportunity to share their Christmas wishes, enjoy festive treats, and take home a special gift from Santa’s workshop.

This cherished annual event brings joy and excitement to families and this year will provide essential support to Cancer Fund for Children. Donations from families visiting Santa will help the charity deliver emotional, practical, and therapeutic support to children and young people impacted by cancer, as well as their families.

Alan Mercer, managing director at Hillmount, expressed his delight in supporting such an important cause during the festive season. He said: “Christmas is the best time of year for families to make special memories to last through the generations. We are incredibly proud to support this deserving charity this year. Cancer Fund for Children does remarkable work and it means so much to us that the magic of our Santa’s Grotto can help bring comfort, joy, and support to families who need it most.”

The partnership highlights the true spirit of the season, community, compassion, and togetherness. By choosing to visit Santa’s Grotto, families are creating magical moments for their own children while ensuring that other families facing the challenges of childhood cancer receive the care and support they need.

Elaine Bullock, Partnership & Philanthropy Executive at Cancer Fund for Children, said: “We're so pleased to be Hillmount's chosen charity partner this Christmas. Up to 40 children and young people could be diagnosed with cancer this festive season, and thanks to the generosity of our corporate partners we can be there for these families when they need us most. Christmas is usually a time for joy but for families impacted by cancer, even being together is a challenge. We are so grateful that some of the proceeds raised from this year's Santa's Grotto will help us continue to ensure no child faces cancer alone."

Visitors can expect an enchanting experience filled with festive photo opportunities, winter scenes, joyful activities, and the unmistakable charm of Santa and his elves.

The Grotto is designed with families in mind, ensuring accessibility, comfort, and a magical atmosphere from start to finish.

Whether it’s a cherished annual tradition or a first-time festive adventure, Santa’s Grotto at Hillmount is set to be a highlight of the Christmas season.
