Step into the wild world of wearable art with this imaginative 3D sculpture workshop! Inspired by contemporary artist Oscar Wilder, known for his expressive cardboard masks and portraits in Brooklyn’s parks, kids will create their own multi-faced box head sculptures using recycled materials.
We’ll rip, tear, cut, glue and paste our way to bold, playful portraits on all sides of a wearable box – complete with flaps, features and flair! Using ‘Makedo’ brand cardboard tools, young artists will explore construction techniques while building their own mini masterpieces that combine creativity, character and a touch of engineering. It’s art you can wear, share, and transform for play at home. All materials supplied.
