First Steps In Business: Getting Started With Confidence

Taking the leap into business can feel daunting.
This interactive workshop focuses on mindset, motivation and overcoming fear.
We’ll explore simple actions you can take immediately and share stories of others who started small and grew.
Suitable for anyone who has an idea but isn’t sure where to begin.
This session is designed for people who feel stuck at the starting line.
It acknowledges the fear, self-doubt and uncertainty that often come before action and provides practical ways to move through them.
Through discussion and reflection, participants will identify what is holding them back and how to reframe those barriers.
The emphasis is on small, achievable steps that build momentum and confidence rather than big, risky decisions.
This online Go Succeed Drop-In Session is delivered in partnership with Fermanagh & Omagh District Council.
This workshop is part of a series of business support sessions aimed at people who are economically inactive, meaning they are not currently in work and not actively looking for a job.
This may include people who are long term sick or disabled, carers, parents without access to childcare, students who are not working, early retirees, or those facing barriers such as confidence, transport, or digital access.
Some participants may receive benefits, others may not, but all are considered outside the active labour market.
Don’t worry if you don’t fit into the categories above, you’re still welcome to join us!
