The Home of St Patrick Festival (March 8-18, 2026) celebrates St. Patrick’s life through music, art, theatre, film, and dance. This is a chance to reflect on the legacy of St Patrick and have fun celebrating his influence on history and culture.
Key events include:
Tumbling Paddies Open Air Concert (March 16th): A live open-air concert featuring The Tumbling Paddies and guests. Suitable for all the family.
Brian Finnegan and Friends (March 14th): A captivating performance with world renowned artists at St. Patrick’s Church of Ireland Cathedral.
Stained Glass window workshop and walking tour (14 March): learn more about the beautiful stained glass in the city churches and learn new skills making your own
Vigil Walk (March 16th): A guided walking tour between Armagh’s two cathedrals, offering a chance to reflect on St. Patrick’s legacy as visitors enjoy panoramic views of the city.
From Carrera to Armagh: the St Patrick’s Cathedral Marbles 18th March a talk led by Prof Christine Casey an architectural historian.
Dawn Light at Navan Centre & Fort (March 17th): A special early morning event exploring the significance of Emain Macha and its connection to St. Patrick’s legacy. Emain Macha, home to the ancient kings and queens of Ulster, stands as one of Ireland’s most famous and important archaeological sites.
