Another one of our popular visits to Carrickfergus with lunch, ales, banter while overlooking the scenic Belfast Lough and Norman castle.

We have had a few conversations about the Marine Bar in Whitehead. The pub (not doing lunch) is only an extra 10 minutes on the train so we could have an early lunch in Carrick and hop on the train to Whitehead and about 5 mins walk to the Marine Bar. Straight run back to Belfast and the Crown Bar.
