Join us for a Full Moon Paddle on Strangford Lough.
Firstly, the full moon is unique to witness from the water and no better place to do so, than from a kayak, SUP or canoe on a flat sea. Departing at twilight you will be guided by an instructor for a paddle out onto Strangford Lough and around the islands. With a favourable forecast, we hope to have a great view of the stars and Moon. We'll aim to stop and have a chat with our physicist who will entertain you with lots of moon related facts and folklore.
After that, we'll return to base for some hot chocolate & treats.
Time: Meeting Allow 15 Minutes to get parked and kitted up, your tour will start shortly after.
Wear swimsuit under your clothes if borrowing a wetsuit to avoid us witnessing two full moons!
Nb. We are also now offering Full Moon Boat Trips on the same dates!
What to bring: - Warm Hat & Clothes · Fancy Dress (October Full Moon Trip) · Head Torch & colourful lights (no single use glow sticks please). · Water Boots, Wetsuit boots / Old trainers · Towel
