Following a successful return to the beloved Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council annual schedule of food & drink events in May, the second Royal Hillsborough Farmers Market of the summer will return to the enchanting Dark Walk at Hillsborough Fort on Saturday 27th June, from 10am to 4pm.

Celebrating the return of summer, the second of a series of three monthly farmers markets planned for Royal Hillsborough will feature local produce ripe for enjoyment, a showcase of the very best from Northern Ireland’s artisan producers, makers and creatives, and a day of food, craft and community spirit set along the shady pathway leading to Hillsborough Fort.

Visitors can expect a tempting line-up of street food vendors for al fresco dining moments, small-batch food and drink producers sure to add a special touch to at-home barbeques, and artisan stalls featuring handcrafted homewares, jewellery, artwork and natural skincare that offer creative gifting ideas or the perfect treat for yourself.

Local favourites from the Lisburn & Castlereagh area will include Kin & Folk Bakery, The Pie Shop, Tom and Ollie and Hinch Distillery. They will be joined by recognisable street food and coffee names like Loki’s coffee, The Hatch, Nomad and The Crepe Makers. The market also welcomes independent artists and makers like Ali Parks, Amber Jordan Design and The Quirky Flamingo.

Set against the historic backdrop of Hillsborough Fort, the Summer Farmers Market draws visitors from near and far to Royal Hillsborough to explore its independent shops and eateries. It provides the ideal location for a summertime outing with friends and family, with entertainment throughout the day, including live music and children's activities.

Entry to the market is free.
