Through reflection and discussion, this session helps you uncover what drives you, whether it’s flexibility, independence or helping your community.

Knowing your “why” will help you stay on track and attract like-minded customers.

This session is about building a business that fits your life rather than the other way around. 

Participants are supported to reflect on their experiences, values and goals and how these can shape a meaningful business idea. 

By understanding what truly motivates you, it becomes easier to make decisions, stay resilient and communicate your offer with authenticity.

 This is especially valuable for those returning to work or seeking purpose alongside income.

This online Go Succeed Drop-In Session is delivered in partnership with Newry, Mourne & Down District Council.

This workshop is part of a series of business support sessions aimed at people who are economically inactive, meaning they are not currently in work and not actively looking for a job. 

This may include people who are long term sick or disabled, carers, parents without access to childcare, students who are not working, early retirees, or those facing barriers such as confidence, transport, or digital access. 

Some participants may receive benefits, others may not, but all are considered outside the active labour market.

About your Trainer & Host

This event will be hosted by Tina Calder, a seasoned marketing strategist, mentor, and AI trainer, specialising in helping businesses craft compelling messages, enhance their brand visibility, and drive measurable results. 

As the founder and Chief Vision Officer of Excalibur Press and Entrepreneurs Unleashed, she has extensive experience mentoring entrepreneurs and organisations.

Tina is a business mentor and delivery agent for Go Succeed and the project lead for this series of Go Succeed In Business events, she is passionate about guiding entrepreneurs to maximise their marketing and business potential.

Tina’s career began 30 years ago in journalism and media, where she gained invaluable insights into audience engagement and media strategy before moving into entrepreneur support, mentoring and training.
